The Site

The proposed development site is a plot of previously developed land off Marchfields Way and Drove Road, adjacent to the Drove Roundabout in Weston-super-Mare. The site comprises part of the former Winterstoke Road Gas Works, which has since been cleared and the site is currently vacant.

The north and western boundaries of the site comprises the Drove Roundabout and the A370, which forms the main route into Weston-super-Mare and towards the seafront, railway station and other destinations.

The site is well-located in close proximity to the main road network. It is within close walking distance of residential development to the south and south west of the site.
